What the workinvolves
Stevedoring
Loading and unloading cargo to and from ships, and moving it around the quay, yard and terminal.
Container handling
Moving, stacking and positioning containers at the quay and in the yard, and to and from trailers, CFS and ICDs.
Project & ODC cargo
Loads too large or heavy for a standard container, such as tanks, pipes, vessels and machinery. They need a planned lift and careful lashing.
